Jeppestown building fire claims four lives
Updated | By Princess Mahogo
Four people have died in a fire that broke out at an abandoned building in Jeppestown in the Johannesburg CBD.

Sunday morning's blaze left three others injured.
One critically injured patient was taken to Charlotte Maxeke Hospital, while the other two were taken to Hillbrow Clinic for further medical care.
Joburg emergency services spokesperson Robert Mulaudzi said firefighters managed to extinguish the fire.
“At this stage the cause of the fire is believed to be an illegal connection. This is an abandoned building, they are using all sorts of materials to try and divide this building using partitions sheet metals to create space so that they can be able to live in buildings like this. We will be handing over the building to the SAPS for further investigations."
