A man was found stoned to death in Jabulani, Soweto, police said on Tuesday.
A man was found stoned to death in Jabulani, Soweto, police said on Tuesday.
The 31-year-old man was found by a passer-by, surrounded by bloody rocks in a Jabulani hostel on Monday evening around 9.35pm, Warrant Officer Kay Makhubela said.
"When we found him he was still alive but couldn't speak. He died at the hospital upon arrival," he said.
No arrests had yet been made.
Makhubela urged those who might have witnessed the crime to come forward.
"We know the people who live there might have seen what happened," Makhubela said.
