Joe Mafela shines, even from the grave
The legendary actor Joe Mafela was laid to rest on Wednesday, with family and friends all gathered to say their final farewell to the actor.
He died at the age of 74 after being involved in a car crash on the M1 earlier this month.
Family, friends and colleagues in the entertainment industry gathered at the University of Johannesburg's Soweto campus, whereafter Mafela's tombstone was revealed.
There has been some mixed reaction on twitter to the unusual tombstone - which depicts what Mafela did for a living.
He was one of South Africa's most loved and well-known actors and his tombstone is a testament to this legacy.
