relieved her alleged killer, Sandile Mantsoe, has been denied bail by the
Johannesburg Magistrates Court.
Mantsoe stands accused of killing and the dumping Mokoena's burnt body in a veld in Lyndhurst. He is facing charges of premeditated murder and defeating the ends of justice.
Mokoena's uncle, Tshepo Mokoena, says the family is happy that justice has prevailed.
The state submitted in court that Mokoena may have still been alive when she was burnt.
In his affidavit, Mantsoe claimed that Mokoena committed suicide and that he didn't kill her.
Mantsoe says he only disposed the body.
