Kelly 'restless' before Meyiwa shooting, court hears
The Senzo Meyiwa murder trial heard on Monday that singer Kelly Khumalo became restless moments before the football star was shot.
This is the testimony of Tumelo Madlala, one of Meyiwa's childhood friends.
Madlala retook the stand in the High Court in Pretoria on Monday in the fresh trial.
He was one of the people with Meyiwa inside Khumalo's mother's house, where the shooting happened in 2014.
The group in the house claims Meyiwa was shot by intruders who came in.
"What I can remember is that Kelly would stand up and sit down, and there was a conversation which was ongoing, jokes were made,” Madlala told the court.
"There was a topic about churches...Sometimes she [Kelly] would sit down, and sometimes she would be sitting next to Senzo."
