Kessie Nair granted bail
Updated | By Bernadette Wicks
Durban businessman Kessie Nair has been granted bail and will begin the new year as a free man.

The Hawks arrested 60-year-old Nair in September and charged him with crimen injuria as well as contravening the Riotous Assemblies Act - for calling President Cyril Ramaphosa the K-world in a Facebook video.
A Verulam magistrate initially refused Nair bail but he appealed her ruling in the Durban High Court, where it was last week set aside.
Nair's lawyer, Chris Gounden says his client's expected to post bail on Wednesday.
"I confirm that he has been granted bail - an amount of R2500 at the Durban High Court on December 14, 2018 with certain bail conditions. The matter still remains adjourned until next year for further investigations."
