The Mayor of Tshwane, Kgosientso Ramokgopa told the Complimentary Breakfast this morning that they are waiting for guidance from the ANC following the Constitutional Court judgement on Nkandla.

The Mayor of Tshwane, Kgosientso Ramokgopa told the Complimentary Breakfast this morning they're awaiting guidance from the ANC following the Constitutional Court judgement on the Nkandla matter.


"I am more than confident that the leadership of the ANC will provide us with answers," he told host, Rian van Heerden.


Ramokgopa says the party's leadership must provide the moral compass to society. 


"I am waiting with bated breath to hear what the next steps are." 


The mayor added  "We have the interest of the entire county at heart and I am confident that we will win the elections" - referring the the upcoming local government poll. 


Ramokgopa said that his positive attitude should not be misinterpreted as arrogance.


"The measure whether we stay or go, depends on the services that we deliver," he said.


He praised voters as the ultimate arbiters of whether the ANC needs to serve or not.
