Krejcir-linked man back in court
Updated | By Staff Writer
Owen Serero, allegedly linked to the attempted murder of investigators in the case against Czech fugitive Radovan Krejcir, is expected to appear in the Johannesburg Magistrate's Court on Monday.
Serero faces three charges of robbery, two of possession of illegal firearms and ammunition, three of motor vehicle theft, one of contravening traffic laws, one of interfering with an investigation, and one of escaping from custody.
He was also part of a group of people arrested in connection with the attempted murder of the investigators of Krejcir's case.
In his last court appearance, the matter was postponed for further evidence.
He told magistrate Simon Radasi he had still not received medication for pain in his leg.
"I am not getting medication for the pain in my leg and I am also not allowed visitors. I also request to be moved to a correctional facility because I am not allowed to bath at Pretoria Central police station."
Radasi told Serero to raise the matter with his lawyer.
