Kruger National Park ranger nabbed for 'smuggling poachers'

Mpumalanga police have arrested three suspects, including a ranger, for trespassing at the Kruger National Park.
The trio were also found in possession of a hunting rifle, ammunition and two knives hidden in the car.
They were intercepted while attempting to enter the park through the Numbi Gate.
Police spokesperson Selvy Mohlala says a SANParks ranger was stopped with two men hidden inside a bakkie.
All three appeared in the Bushbuckridge Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
Two were released on R15 000 each while the third accused’s bail hearing was postponed to Wednesday after investigation revealed that he has previous conviction.
