KZN bus crash leaves at least 9 dead, 60 others injured

The KwaZulu-Natal Transport Department have confirmed the deadly
accident that occurred on the N3 near Tugela River Bridge on Tuesday.
KZN medical services spokesperson Robert Mckenzie says 9 people were killed, including a baby.
“Sadly, there have been nine fatalities, four male and five female including a baby.
“60 patients have been treated by paramedics. All patients have been transported to hospital for further medical attention,” says Mckenzie.
It understood that the bus lost control then drove of the Tugela bridge.
“The freeway is still open however, we would like motorist to be extremely careful as medical services are still on the scene.”
The cause of the crash is unknown.
