KZN father handed 4 life sentences for killing children

The Pietermaritzburg High Court in KwaZulu Natal has sentenced Sibusiso Mpungose to four life terms for the murder of his children.
Mpungose was found guilty of hanging 4-year-old Kuhlekonke, 6-year-old Khwezi and 10-year-old Sphesihle in their home in September.
The body of their older sister, 16-year-old Ayakha Jiyane, was found in a bush in New Germany.
The man's children aged 4, 6, and 10 were found hanged in their family home in early September.
Mpungose (44) pleaded guilty last month.

In a scathing judgement, Judge Sharmaine Balton said his actions were difficult to put into words.
"The crimes that you have committed is atrocious."
Balton added that the father had no respect for human life before handing down sentence.
