KwaZulu-Natal Premier Sihle Zikalala says the provincial goverment has allocated R66m to the AmaZulu royal family.

Zikalala delivered his budget speech in the provincial legislature on Friday.
He told legislature that the money will assist the coronation ceremony of the newly nominated Zulu King.
"For this year, we have allocated the amount of sixty-six million and seventy-four thousand rands to the Zulu Royal household.
"These programmes seek to ensure that we provide support to the hosting of annual traditional and cultural events. We also coordinate the King's coronation day, the prayers that are held at the royal house, and we will also support other cultural activities."
On Thursday, Zikalala denied meddling in the affairs of the Zulu royal family.
His remarks come after reports last week that newly nominated Zulu King Misuzulu kaZelithini was stripped off his security a day after chaos broke out at the KwaKhangelamankengane Palace in KwaNongoma.
