Fisokuhle Ntuli was responsible for a reign of terror in KwaZulu-Natal
from 2016 - killing six people including African National Congress (ANC) councillor
Thami Goodwill Nyembe.

He also shot and critically wounded Nolwazi Nyembe, the wife of the councillor.
Ntuli was convicted in the Esikhaleni Regional Court in Richards Bay on Tuesday.
“He was further convicted of four counts of unlawful possession of firearm and ammunition where one of the firearms stolen was from a policeman in Ezibeleni in Queenstown in 2011,” says national police spokesperson Vish Naidoo.
Nadioo says Ntuli is also a person of interest in other cases including murder of footballer Senzo Meyiwa.
“His terror reign was not only in the Northern parts of KwaZulu-Natal as he is also a person of interest in several other cases in Gauteng, many of which are murders, including that of Senzo Meyiwa.”
Ntuli’s defence team requested that a pre-sentencing report from a parole officer and a social worker be presented to the court before sentencing is passed.
He is expected back in court on 9 December for sentencing.
