KZN teen ‘accidentally' shot and killed by friend
A teenage boy has died in Stanger, north of Durban, after he was accidentally shot with a firearm.
"Allegedly, the two teenage boys were playing with a firearm when it accidentally went off, fatally injuring the boy," IPSS Medical Rescue's Samantha Meyrick says.
"Kwadukuza SAPS detectives were on the scene and will investigate the incident further."
Meyrick says the 14-year-old was declared dead at the scene in the afternoon.
The other boy wasn't hurt.
