Law firm to probe sexual harassment claims at Vaal High
The Gauteng Education Department has confirmed that Education MEC Panyaza Lesufi has received a report into allegations of sexual violence against pupils by teachers at Vaal High School.
Spokesperson Steve Mabona says the report prompted Lesufi to appoint a law firm to further investigate the allegations.
Last month, allegations surfaced on social media accusing teachers, including the school principal, of sexual harassment.
There were also allegations that a suspended teacher is inciting the pupils to make the allegations.
