At least 36 people killed on Gauteng roads this week

The Gauteng Department of Community Safety has expressed
concern over the number high number of road deaths in the province ahead of the
festive season.

Gauteng Traffic Police spokesperson Ofentse Morwane says over the last four days at least 36 deaths were recorded on the province’s roads.
The fatalities include four children and 14 pedestrians.
“We caution our pedestrians to make sure they don’t drink and walk the streets. They should use the roads cautiously,” says Morwane.
