Lesufi to visit family of Laerskool Bekker drowning victim

Gauteng Education MEC Panyaza Lesufi will on Sunday visit the family of the 13-year-old boy who died at a primary school in Magaliesburg.
Keamohetswe Shaun Seboko, a Grade 7 learner, was found dead on the premises of Laerskool Bekker on Wednesday afternoon.
The department's spokesperson Steve Mabona says it is alleged that he drowned in the swimming pool of the school's hostel.

"Police are still investigating the exact circumstances surrounding Seboko's death. MEC Lesufi will visit the family on Sunday to convey his sincere condolences.
"He also wants to assure the family that the department will provide them with support."
It's been a tough start to the school year in Gauteng.
Earlier in the week, Enoch Mpianzi from Parktown Boys drowned during a school orientation camp in Brits, North West.

A number of schools in the province were also robbed, vandalised, and set alight.
