A sudden power outage dumped Hyde Park into darkness, while Exclusive Books hosted the official launch of Jacques Pauw's controvertial book

Social media was abuzz on Wednesday night, after hundreds of people were left in the dark, while listening to an interview with Pauw.
He was explaining his research and talking about the overwhelming reaction to his book, "The President's Keepers".
However, the event was unexpectedly interrupted, when the lights went off, leading to rumors flying on Twitter.

In his book, Pauw writes amongst others that President Jacob Zuma did not hand in tax submissions for the first four years of his presidency.
He continued to sign hundreds of books in the dark - with the help of a torch.
