The Hawks have arrested a senior official at the Molemole Municipality in Limpopo for alleged theft and fraud.
"Between 2015 and 2018 the suspect, who was a member of the Makgato Community Property Association, allegedly connived with other members of the association to award a farming tender to a company owned by his wife without following due processes," said the Hawks’ Matimba Maluleke on Friday.
The company received more than R4.8 million for services that were not rendered.
