Limpopo Premier Stan Mathabatha on Wednesday reshuffled the provincial cabinet.
This comes after the post of MEC at the Department of Agriculture and Rural development stood vacant for two months following the death of Joy Matshoge.
Chairperson of the Provincial Portfolio Committee on Sports, Arts and Culture, Onicca Moloi was sworn in by Judge President Ephriam Makgoba and will now be the new MEC for that department.
Former Transport, Safety and Security MEC, Mapula Mokaba-Phukwana will now lead the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Sports, Arts and Culture MEC Nandi Ndalane will now head up the renamed Department of Transport and Community Safety.
Provincial spokesperson, Phuti Seloba said people of Limpopo have always wanted to see young faces in the provincial cabinet.
"All these changes are made to strengthen government to ensure that the people of this province continue to receive quality services from this government," he said.
