Limpopo premier Stanley Mathabatha has suspended the third senior official since he took office.

Limpopo premier Stanley Mathabatha has suspended another senior official, the third since he took office 103 days ago.
Provincial director general, Rachel Molepo-Modipa, was suspended pending an investigation into charges relating to the administrative collapse of several departments, spokesman Kenny
Mathivha announced on Tuesday.
"The premier has decided to place director general Ms Rachel Molepo-Modipa on precautionary suspension with immediate effect," Mathivha said.
Her deputy Phuthi Pheme was appointed as acting director general.
Mathivha did not specify what the allegations were.
Earlier this year, Mathabatha suspended with pay, the education department head Morebudi Thamakga and co-operative governance head, Nnana Manamela.
In December 2011, five provincial government departments were placed under administration amid allegations of corruption and gross violation of the Public Finance Management Act.
The Treasury took over the administration of the departments of health, education, roads and transport, public works, and the provincial treasury.
Molepo-Modipa was responsible for monitoring the overall operations of the provincial departments.
