Limpopo taxi boss Benny Kekana gunned down

Limpopo police are investigating a case of murder after a taxi owner was killed in an apparent hit in Moletlane on Thursday.
It’s reported Benny Kekana was travelling with a friend when he was accosted by unknown assailants near a filling station.
“According to the information received, the taxi owner and his friend were driving to the friend's residence . On arrival, the friend got off the taxi to enter the yard. Suddenly, an Audi Q7 motor vehicle emerged and blocked the taxi in front, and multiple gunshots were reportedly fired at him,” said police spokesperson Malesela Ledwaba.
Kekana was declared dead at the scene by members of the emergency medical services who were called to the scene.
When combing the scene, police found empty cartridges from a rifle and 9mm pistol.
A case of murder has been opened.
