Limpopo teacher attacked after alleged sexual misconduct with a pupil

The Department of Education in Limpopo is investigating the circumstances surrounding an incident, captured in video footage, which shows a teacher being assaulted for sexual misconduct.

The teacher, who is a deputy principal, is accused of having a sexual relationship with a pupil at his school.
The video, which has since gone viral, shows the man naked after an alleged mob justice incident.
Provincial Education spokesperson, Mike Maringa says they are taking the allegation seriously and trying to establish the facts.
Police spokesperson, Motlafela Mojapelo says no case of assault or rape has been opened yet.
"The teacher was assaulted, and it depends on him if he wants to open a case or not, for now, no case has been opened," he said.
