A 3-year-old boy died after
falling into a pit toilet in Seshego, Limpopo police said on Wednesday.

Police spokesperson Maphure Manamela said the toddler died at his aunt’s place where he usually plays.
"His aunt took off his clothes and left him to relieve himself outside the toilet as usual. She was busy with her house chores when she noticed she had not seen the toddler for some time.
"She searched for him without success until she reported the matter to the police. They responded quickly and a search operation commenced until the deceased was found inside the pit toilet,” Manamela said.

The latest deaths comes amid a continuing court battle between the state and the family of 5-year-old Micheal Komape.
Komape drowned after he fell into a pit toilet at his school in Limpopo in 2014.
The Komape family is seeking R2 million in compensation and has been granted leave to appeal in the Supreme Court of Appeal after the High Court only granted Micheal’s siblings R6000 each for general medical expenses.
