Limpopo woman killed by refuse truck
An employee from Thulamela Municipality in Thohoyandou was run over by a refuse truck on Saturday morning.
Police spokesperson Vuledzani Dathi says the men were busy collecting waste when the incident took place.
The driver was apparently unaware that Mbadi Mashonelo was behind the truck when he reversed, instantly killing her.

"The police in Thohoyandou have opened a culpable homicide docket after a 37-year-old employee of the Thulamela Municipality was run over by the garbage truck while loading the dustbins or garbage in the Thohoyandou CBD," Dathi says.
"The police were notified by the community members who was on the scene and when they proceeded there they find the lady being runned over at the scene and she died instantly."
Police are investigating the exact circumstances leading to Mashonelos’s death.
