Limpopo woman's body found chopped, hidden in pit toilet

Limpopo police have intensified their manhunt for a suspect following the gruesome discovery of a body of a 35-year-old, Avhurengwi Rambuda in Mukula village in Thohoyandou on Tuesday.
Police say the victim's body was discovered by a relative wrapped with a blanket and placed on the seat of an unused pit toilet.
Police spokesperson Malesela Ledwaba says she was found chopped all over her body with a sharp object.
He says her wrist was also missing.
Rambuda was last seen at her home in Mukula village on 30 December 2022.
"Azwimpheleli Mashau is requested by the Police to avail himself at the nearest police station to assist with the investigations. Limpopo Police Commissioner Thembi Hadebe has called on community members with information to come forward."
