Limpopo women nabbed for selling elephant tusks

Police in Makhando have arrested two women for the possession of two elephant tusks.

The women were caught in the act on Friday trying to sell the tusks at a local market.
"The tusks were concealed in a black sports bag," says police spokesperson Moatshe Ngoepe.

The suspects, aged 28 and 35, are expected to appear in the Louis Trichardt Magistrate court soon.
