Limpopo police launch probe after explosives found in abandoned car

Limpopo police have launched an investigation to identify and arrest an unknown number of suspects, following the recovery of a large cache of illegal explosives from an abandoned vehicle in Musina.
They recovered abandoned illegal explosives following a tip-off about a suspicious Opel Corsa that was parked outside a yard, opposite Sidiba Track Park.
Police spokesperson in the Province, Malesela Ledwaba says they found three bags containing 570 blasting cartridges inside the vehicle.
"The police are now conducting a thorough investigation to identify and apprehend the suspects.
"Anyone with information regarding this incident or the suspects' whereabouts is urged to come forward and contact Captain David Mashimbe or the Crime Stop number or share an anonymous tip via the MySAPSApp".
