Limpopo police probe gruesome deaths of couple outside Tzaneen

Police in Limpopo are investigating circumstances that led to the gruesome deaths of a couple in what seems to be a case of domestic violence.
The two lifeless bodies were discovered in the bushes in Tlhotlhokwe village outside Tzaneen on Saturday.
The woman who is said to be the man's fiancee, was found lying on the ground with open wounds on her head, while the man was found hanging on the tree.
"It is alleged that when the son of the male deceased realised he is not returning home, he went to look for him in the nearby bushes and discovered the lifeless bodies of his father and his fiancee, and immediately reported it to the olice," says police spokesperson Malesela Ledwaba.
The man was identified as the 70-year old Gilbert Rabothata, while the woman whose age is unknown was identified as Pulane Moremi.
The provincial Commissioner of Police, lieutenant-general Thembi Hadebe has reiterated her call for people who have personal problems to seek professional help and avoid these kind of tragedy.
