Lindiwe Zulu: There is a reason why Nhlanhla Nene was fired

The Minister of Small Business Development, Lindiwe Zulu told the Complimentary Breakfast on Friday morning that there is a reason that President Jacob Zuma fired former finance minister Nhlanhla Nene.
She declined to elaborate, and jokingly said that her utterances might have an effect on the South African Economy.
here have been growing concern that South Africa's economy might be downgraded again, when ratings agencies Finch and Standards & Poor release their latest figures.
"I don't want to elaborate on that, cause the Rand might flip-flop," Lindiwe Zulu told host, Rian van Heerden.
Zulu added that the reason behind the sudden dismissal of Nhlanhla Nene as finance minister would soon be revealed.
"President Jacob Zuma did consult with members of the National Working Committee and they confirmed that the president did consult them before firing Minister Nene," she said.
She said the NEC had to understand why President Zuma took that decision to fire Nene.
"It will be told, one day, why the president did what he did," Zulu said.
The minister also touched on the recent chaos in Parliament and said that while politics in the country have become exciting, MP's would not divert from the work that needed to be done in the National Assembly.
She again commented on the incident where the EFF's Mbuyiseni Ndlozi referred to her as "Minister Ginger".
"I told him to meet me outside and if given the opportunity I will still meet him outside,' she added.
