[LISTEN] 100 Men March: Churches must stop bullying women

Churches and religious organisations have been urged to challenge gender-based violence.

Hundreds of men from different sectors of society marched to the Union Buildings in Pretoria to commit to making the country safer for women and children.

Police Minister Bheki Cele, Public Service, administration, Minister Ayanda Dlodlo and the Yusuf Abramjee are among the people leading the march. pic.twitter.com/GITNhPd3Ww
The South African Council of Churches' (SACC) General Secretary Bishop Mpumlwana was among the men leading the march.
"Join with others, every community in this country has a place where ministers come together and its that place we want to use for our ministry and of course it is also the same place we want to use to challenge each other for how we dominate, bully and abuse women in our congregations," said Mpumlwana.
