LISTEN: AKA's mother says she's forgiven son's killer
Updated | By Gcinokuhle Malinga
The mother of slain rapper Kiernan "AKA" Forbes says she has already forgiven the person who killed her son.

"I don't have issues with that person, I don' t feel any hate for them, I don't feel any negative feelings towards them. I think they just another person who's been used by someone else and I actually really don't have any anger towards them, I don't, I've forgiven them."
Speaking on East Coast Radio's The Carol Ofori Podcast, Lynn Forbes opened up in an emotional interview about how her family has been coping since the death of her 35-year-old son.
The award-winning rapper and his friend Tebello Motsoane were gunned down on Durban's Florid Road after having dinner at a restaurant in February.
Lynn says while they are being patient with the police investigation it is clear that AKA's murder was linked to organised crime.
She says regardless of who's arrested, they don't think they'll ever know who ordered the hit on her son.
"I don't believe the person who pulled the trigger hated my son, I don't even think that person even knew my son, he was just doing a job that he was paid for.

"There might be an arrest for the person who had pulled the trigger, whether we would find the person who paid for the bullet, that one I'm not sure about.
"I don't really believe that would ever happen and so for me, finding the person who pulled the trigger, there is nothing in that speaks of justice to me."
