LISTEN: Bail hearing of Madiba's grandson postponed
A 24-year-old grandson of Nelson Mandela will remain behind bars, after his legal team and the State agreed the case be postponed until Tuesday.
The suspect, whose full identity cannot be revealed until he pleads, stands accused of raping a 15-year-old girl at a popular restaurant in Johannesburg, two weeks ago.
After a two-hour adjournment, his legal team handed in four affidavits to support his release on bail, including one that its case is based on the fact that it was consensual and therefore not rape.
