Bomb scare at food testing laboratory
Employees at SAI Global in
Johannesburg have been evacuated from the premises following a bomb scare.
SAI Global is an international food safety and microbiology laboratory.
"We got a call from an hour ago, the person who called said we have been warned and they are going to blow up our laboratory," said an employee who preferred to remain anonymous.
The employee revealed that a colleague based in Cape Town also received an anonymous call with the same warning.
SAI Global has confirmed the bomb scare and is expected to release a statement later.
Police have not been available for comment.
