Updated | By sibahle motha
JacaNews spoke to Cope leader Mosiuoa ‘Terror’ Lekota following the recent vandalism of several statues across the country.
Lekota says people should have a broad understanding of history before they can take up the fight to remove historical statues.
When asked about his thoughts on the vandalism of the Paul Kruger statue in Pretoria, Lekota said that Kruger was one of the strongest opponents of British Imperialism and that he was a man who wanted a South Africa for South Africans.
