The SACP First deputy secretary, Solly Mapaila has thrown his weight behind President Cyril Ramaphosa, who is facing a barrage of criticism about his approach in dealing with corruption.

Mapaila was speaking during the funeral of MK Veteran Peter Dambuza at Makonde outside Thohoyandou on Saturday morning.
"In his attempts to fights against corruption, to clean government and to clean the ANC, we must not be in despair," he said.
