LISTEN: We are not scared of Donald Trump, says Malema
Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema says they are not afraid of US President Donald Trump.
Malema briefed the media in Johannesburg on Thursday,
He used the opportunity to respond to the controversial tweet by Trump, where he says his Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has been instructed to study South African “land and farm seizures and expropriations and large scale killing of farmers”.
Malema described Trump as a pathological liar.
“If there is a conviction and not sloganeering and public opinions then we must be prepared for everything, it’s a war. We must be prepared for Donald Trump and all of them. We are not scared of them, we remain unshaken and actually we are more determined after Donald Trump’s tweet to expropriate land without compensation.”
Malema told journalists the EFF is not concerned about possible sanctions that could be imposed by the US.
“There is a group of white right-wingers who are being trained by Jews in Pretoria to be snipers. We know that death is the first price we are prepared to pay, the second price we prepared to pay for this land is poverty,(as) they will close the taps.”
He reiterated that under an EFF government, white people will lose their farms. First up will be the farms that are not productive.
“Then we will come for farms where there is actual production or business taking place for the purposes of black inclusion. In distribution of those farms, there will be absolute prioritization of black people who are the natives of this land.”
