LIVE: Robert Mugabe set to address Zimbabwe
A defiant Robert Mugabe has not resigned in a much-anticipated address to the nation in a live TV broadcast on Sunday.
Mugabe was ousted as the leader of the ruling party, Zanu-PF, on Sunday afternoon.
The army took control of the country earlier this week.
Mugabe was ousted following recommendations from provincial branches that he be expelled from the party.
The Zimbabwe Broadcast Corporation (ZBC) said Mugabe was expected to make an announcement.
Mugabe has not resigned as Zimbabwean president as many had anticipated.
