Loadshedding to alternate between stage 2 and 3 over the weekend

In its latest update Eskom said stage 2 loadshedding will be implemented from 4pm until 8pm on Friday.
Thereafter stage 3 loadshedding will kick in at 5am on Saturday followed by stage 2 at 8pm.
Stage 3 will resume on Sunday morning.
The power utility has attributed the rolling blackouts to the loss of three generating units over the last 24 hours.
Spokesperson Daphne Mokoena says Eskom’s evening peak demand for Friday, is 25 857MW.
"Eskom will closely monitor the power system and provide an update on Sunday afternoon. Unplanned outages account for 15 409MW of generating capacity, while the capacity out of service for planned maintenance is 6 261MW.
"A total of 3 570MW of generating capacity is anticipated to return to service by Monday".
