Low risk of loadshedding this weekend

This can however change as the power grid is unpredictable.
The power giant said in a statement that even though there has been no loadshedding for the past two weeks, they are trying their best to meet the country's electricity demand.
"Eskom's aim is to meet the country's electricity needs and maintain its power generating units with minimal or no load shedding," the statement read.
"The likelihood of load shedding remains a possibility should we experience an additional generating unit failure," the power utility said.
Eskom has appealed to all our customers to continue to reduce their electricity usage throughout the day but to be aware of the need to save more during the peak periods from 06:00 to 10:00 and 17:00 to 21:00.
