Magoebaskloof road closed due to fire

Motorists have been advised to avoid the R71 Magoebaskloof road after a truck overturned and caught fire.

Spokesperson for the Member of the Executive Council (MEC) of Transport in Limpopo, Joel Seabi, says the accident happened between Haenertsburg and Marenski.

"We would like to take this opportunity to caution motorists travelling in and out of Tzaneen that there is an accident on R71 which involves a truck that overturned and burned and caused a huge amount of fire in that area."
Seabi says alternative routes in and out of Tzaneen are George's Valley and the R81.
