North West Premier, Supra Mahumapelo, has agreed to a request to meet with the Provincial House of Traditional Leaders on Thursday.
The meeting is aimed at discussing the ongoing violent protests in the province.
Provincial government spokesperson, Brian Setswambung, says a need for a meeting with Mahumapelo is one of the resolutions taken during the Provincial House of Traditional Leaders' meeting, held in Rustenburg on Wednesday.
Violent protests engulfed the province last week with angry community members demanding that he step down amid mounting allegations of corruption.
