Mahumapelo to head meeting at Luthuli House
Updated | By Sinethemba Madolo
Embattled Supra Mahumaleo is expected to meet with the ANC's National Working Committee at the party's head quarters in Johannesburg on Monday.
Spokesperson for the ANC's Provincial Executive Committee in the North West, Gerald Modise, says the meeting comes after a resolution was taken during a Provincial Committee meeting last week for the province's ANC National Working committee to meet with the party leaders in a bid to find solutions to problems in the province.
The NWC will be preparing a report for the National Executive Committee.
Modise says Mahumepelo is expected to brief the ANc's top 6 leaders on the current situation and how best to deal with the matters.

Modise has denied that Mahumapelo's future as North West Premier will be announced.
"The meeting tomorrow is only further engagement to clarify some issues as reported in the media and the serious allegations levelled against the premier," Modise explains.
The North West PEC instructed Premier Supra Mahumapelo to withdraw his resignation and placed him on indefinite leave on 9 May, pending the outcome of an investigation by the inter-ministerial task team into governance issues in the province.
North West finance MEC Wendy Nelson has since been appointed as the acting Premier.
