Major breakthrough in fight against drugs in Limpopo

Police in Limpopo confiscated drug producing plants with an estimated value of R118 000 on Wednesday.

Nine suspects were arrested in the Wolkberg mountains, east of Polokwane.
Police says members of crime intelligence, detectives, and the drug unit were involved in the operation.
During the operation, officer seized three bakkies and 49 "plastic bags of Khat containing 150 bunches".
"The arrested suspects will appear in Mankweng Magistrate's Court soon," says police spokesperson Motlafela Mojapelo.
They face charges of possession and dealing in drugs.
