Malboro fire leaves 100 homeless

Over 100 people were left homeless after a fire destroyed 69 shacks in Marlboro on Tuesday, Johannesburg emergency services said.
There were no fatalities and no one was reported missing, spokeswoman Nana Radebe said.
The cause of the fire was not yet known. It started before 11am at the informal settlement behind Old Pretoria Road. It was extinguished by 2.30pm.
