Malema hits out at Zuma, Nzimande at Castro memorial
Updated | By Samkelo Maseko
EFF leader Julius Malema says President Jacob Zuma has no right to mourn the late former Cuban leader Fidel Castro.
Malema addressed the party's Castro Memorial lecture in Soweto.
Malema says the ANC has sold out the legacy of Fidel Castro.
He told supporters to honour Castro's legacy by taking the land that belongs to them.
"Who are you to go around saying Fidel must rest in peace when you sold out what Fidel stood for. Zuma is probably ashamed to go and speak in the memorial service for Fidel when he knows very well he is the opposite of what Fidel was fighting for," says Malema.
Malema also says he will be leaving for Cuba tomorrow to attend Castro's funeral.
