Malema: SA would be dark without white people

Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema says “it will be too dark” if whites are driven out of the country.
Speaking at the Rand Merchant Bank (RMB) event in Sandton, Malema said the call for the return of the land does not mean white people need to leave South Africa.
“Nobody ever said white people must be driven to the sea. The debate is how do we share the land? How can we share the land with you when you are gone? You are not going anywhere, it’s going to be too dark without you, you bring some light,” said Malema.
However, he warned the investment bankers that black people are tired of waiting for economic freedom.
“90% of the economy is owned by 10% of the population, this reality needs to be confronted. This is a recipe for a revolution. You think you are owning now and don’t want to find a long-lasting solution to this, you will lose everything. One day you will wake up in the morning and have nothing.”
Malema said when organisations like RMB do charity work, they do it for themselves and not those in need.
“We don’t want you to do those things of charity. We are not a charity case, we can buy shoes and iPads on our own. We just want to be empowered. We don’t need RMB and ABSA to come give us charity,” he said.
