Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema has paid a visit to the family home of the late Enoch Mpianzi to offer his condolences and support.
On Wednesday, Malema visited the family of the 13-year-old boy whose lifeless body was retrieved from the Crocodile River last week.
Mpianzi went missing during the Parktown Boys' High School Grade 8 orientation camp in Brits, North West.
Malema pledged to assist the family with funeral arrangements.

"Mama and Papa, please receive our condolences. You are not alone, we are here with you. We will find answers together and we'll bury this young man together in a dignified way, which you as a family shall lead," he said.
"Our support to the family does not in any way put any condition or impose ourselves into this family, we are genuinely here to support you."
The family has received widespread support from various organisations since the tragedy.
"South Africans are fully behind and in this case, black and white. We will not bring him back, the least we can do is give him a dignified send-off,” Malema said.
The family is yet to announce funeral arrangements.
