The city’s Water and Sanitation Department is attending to a major water leak on the bulk pipeline, which supplies the Mamelodi R3 and R4 Reservoirs.

Tshwane spokesperson Lindela Mashigo said the repair work is expected to be completed on Saturday.

“The team is currently scouring the bulk pipeline, and once the supply line is empty, repair work will be effected immediately. Water tankers have been arranged to service customers in affected areas”.
