Man (50) killed in Limpopo crash
A 50-year-old man has died and another injured in a fatal crash on the N1 North in Polokwane near Mall of the North.
The collision happened on Thursday morning on a bypass between the R81 and the N1 North.
Paramedics arrived on scene to find an SUV on its roof and another vehicle in the middle of the road.
ER24 spokesperson Ross Campbell says two men were trapped under the wreckage.
“A man in his 50s has died and another believed to be in 40s sustained serious injuries in a collision N1 North bypass between R81 and the N1 near the mall.
“The man in the Toyota Corolla unfortunately showed no signs of life and was declared dead on scene.
“Our medics along with another service provider used the jaws of life to extact the man the SUV, he suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital by emergency services.”
